Community Arts and Activities Center

What Is The CAAC

The CAAC is an inspirational and educational resource for everyone interested in art, crafts, music, photography, writing and play production. It was founded in 2001 when community artists' visualized a necessity to spark the cityscape of Jeannette with the beauty of art and music.

Since then we have established a non-profit corporation that is devoted to the understanding, appreciation, education, and promotion of the arts for adults as well as children. We offer various classes/workshops, exhibits, lectures, musical and play productions throughout the year. We also schedule trips to museums, galleries, music halls, and playhouses to touch base with the art societies that our larger cities have to offer.

Mission Statement

The Community Arts and Activities Center is dedicated to developing, training, promoting and perpetuating arts and activities which nurture and care for the people. This mission is done through the creative power of the Word and of the Word made visible in all artistic expressions.
